Insilico Investigation of Potential Inhibitors Targetting Protein Associated with Vitiligo Disorder

Vitiligo is a depigmentation disorder. There were various hypotheses proposed over the years. Based onrnthe previous studies, VIT1 protein has been selected for this study to control the depigmentation byrncontrolling apoptosis process of melanocytes. In this present study computational docking studyrnperformed for the following ligands Berberine, Chrysin, Pinocembrine, Piperine against VIT1 protein.rnDocking study results were analyzed based on the scores and protein-ligand interactions. Dockingrnscores reflects their binding affinity, and hydrogen and hydrophobic interactions reflects protein-ligandrnstability. Binding affinity as well as protein-ligand stability associated with drug efficacy.
