Use of bio-ethanol as renewable energy

Mailare Havgirao V, Dr. Aravind Kumar Sharma

Ethanol can be obtained from sugarcane and corn starch in large quantity. Biomass is considered as the solid fuel having polyaromatic lignin structure and can be obtained at a cheaper rate. The big positive thing about biomass is that it is abundant and renewable. Biomass is widely used in the paper industry. It is also observed that biomass polysaccharide is a good and safe source of energy and can be used to produce ethanol. With the increase in the population, the sources of energy and fossil fuels are decreasing. There is need of renewable energy worldwide on urgent basis. Many research works are going on so as to get more and more renewable source of energy which can be further used to produce fuel. The current article describes the method of producing bio-ethanol with the conversion of agricultural waste material.
