Cultivation of oyster mushroom

This research work was carried out to investigate the cultivation of Oyster Mushroom on different substrate. Mushroom cultivation is a profitable agribusiness. Incorporation of non conventional crops in existing agriculture system can improve the economic status of the farmer. Mushrooms are sources of protein, vitamins, and minerals and are anticancerous, anticholestrals, and antitumorous. Straw produces high yield naturally and is recommended as the best substrate for Oyster Mushroom.
