Light characteristics (spectra, intensity and time) have a profound influence on microalgal growth, metabolism, and biochemical constituent, however with artificial, cheap, and long lasting LED lights on microalgae are deficient and latest. Hence, in this study we focused on impact of various color filtered LED lights on biomass, pigments and lipid production in microalgae. We isolated microalgae from the stagnant rain water (Oscillatoria sp. (SRA), soil (Ankistrodesmus sp. (SoA), and Cooum water (Oscillatoria sp. (CWA), and grown under different color filtered LED light for 20 days in algal culture broth for 16h dark and 8h light cycle at 25°C. Results revealed that the different species shown special growth pattern in different color light as Oscillatoria sp. (SRA1) shown maximum at 3 g/L at blue light, whereas Ankistrodesmus sp. (SoA) in green light (2.5 g/L), Oscillatoria sp. (CWA) in white and yellow light (1.5 g/L). The pigments of chlorophylla and carotenoid observed at high concentration in blue lights as maximum of 2
