Abstract
Coleus rotundifolius L. belonging to the family Lamiaceae commonly known as Patharchur in Hindi, It is a large succulent aromatic perennial herb. The leaves of this plant have been used in malarial fever, hepatopathy, renal and vesicle calculi, cough, chronic asthma, hiccough, bronchitis, anthelmintic, colic and convulsions. This paper deals with the pharmacognostical evaluation of leaves, stems and roots of Coleus rotundifolius by using different parameters.
